Has there ever been a better title for a puzzle? Cat Family Reunion? Yes please! I have never seen this puzzle before, not online, on Instagram, and definitely not in stores. It’s from 2017, by the artist Laura Seely.
This particular image looks to be part of her Magic Cats series. I did notice that a lot of these cats are dressed like jesters, and maybe their colourful fur patterns make them magical.
It was so funny when I had all the pieces laid out and flipped right side up, there were so many eyes, ha ha, it was kind of creepy! I had a lot of fun with this puzzle, though. It just flowed so easily.
I just moved from cat to cat, or patterned tie to patterned neck scarf. These little kitties are pretty silly, like why are they so cat-like but so humanoid at the same time? There’s some detail to their faces that is a little odd, but in a very good way!
My absolute favourite kitty was the black one with the yellow triangles, just the right pattern and colour combo. I posted this on Marketplace and have since sold it to it’s new owner, hopefully these magic cats bring some smiles to their face too!
1000 pieces, complete, found at Value Village, Joe laughed when I bought it, made by Ravensburger in 2017 featuring Laura Seely’s Magic Cats. A true win!
