Another treasure. How can I not gush over this puzzle? It’s round, it has animals from all over the world, it has land animals and underwater animals, and it’s a beautiful drawing. Oh, plus it’s vintage by the Great American Puzzle Factory, I’m in puzzle heaven!
The artist is Elaine Maier and this puzzle is from 2001, it feels strange saying that 2001 is vintage, but here we are… ha ha!

I think I’ve chatted about an old childhood puzzle of mine before, but this particular puzzle gave me a lot of similar feels as the Marine Mammals of the Northwestern Hemisphere puzzle that I had when I was younger. (Also a Great American Puzzle Factory release, in the same cut as the Penguins at the Beach puzzle.)
I couldn’t say if this was the same artist but the detail, was very similar and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I’d also never had a round puzzle from this company before, so again, I was really having a great time!

I really love the layout and structure to this image, I enjoyed that the underwater scene was “right side up” but the land animals circled the globe. I also love how this puzzle illustrates how all ecosystems are connected and reminds us to cherish and take care of our home. It’s a beautiful puzzle!

What a treat that this is a complete puzzle too!
