Could this be any cuter? I am so taken by this picture of two, you guessed it, cats and their friend. Their friend happens to be a guinea pig that is the same colour as the cats. I can’t handle how sweet this is!
This artists’s name is Mimi Vang Olsen, in looking up some more of her work, cats are a common theme for her. They’re realistically painted with a cartoony edge, if that makes sense. Her work is playful, simple and comforting. Which I guess is kind of how I feel about life with cats.
Silly, goofy, playful buddies, that bring so much love and comfort into your life, it’s as simple as that!
Apparently this trio were actually Vang Olsen’s pets at the time, again, it’s too cute!
I chose this puzzle for a puzzle along recently on Instagram, a cats vs. dogs contest. Cats didn’t “win” but I love both cats and dogs, they’re both winners in my opinion 🙂
And this puzzle is a winner! It’s a vintage 550 piecer by the Great American Puzzle Factory from 1989. It was complete and in absolute perfect shape, I loved every minute of this.
I wonder what their names were? What would you name them? From left to right, I would go with Betsy, Siren, and Franklin.
