About a year ago, when Joe and I first moved to Halifax, we went thrifting while my mom was still here. I think we actually went on my birthday, if I’m not mistaken, I remember Joe and my mom asking me what I wanted to do on my birthday and I said I wanted to go thrifting, ha ha!

Well, at one of the first stores we went to, I found the Golden Girls puzzle and two of the vintage Buffalo Games puzzles from the Talking Jigsaw Puzzle Series. One called the Office and this one, the Beach.
You might be thinking, “Lina, why are you only posting about these now?”

I guess that I was a bit intimidated by them, I did want to assemble them because I really enjoyed my very first one from a few years ago – The Hospital. But they do require a lot of focus and puzzle stamina and to be honest, in this puzzle… not all of the conversations made sense to me and I had to reference the back side a couple times.

If you’re not familiar with this series, basically the order of conversation squares are not shown in the correct order on the cover of the box. The puzzler needs to assemble each conversation bubble and use the speech and image clues to get them in the right order.
I don’t recall referencing the back on the Hospital puzzle I assembled, but like I said, not all the speech bubbles were all that obvious to me this time around. That being said, I did really enjoy this one, and it was engaging to assemble, I think maybe the writing made more sense with the Hospital one. Maybe the Office will be more successful too.
Spoiler alert below, I will be showing a photo of the completed conversation. If you plan on assembling this puzzle, maybe don’t scroll any lower on this page!

As you can no doubt see, I was missing two pieces along the edge, which was the best place to have a gap in a puzzle like this.
