Halloween is around the corner! And who captures the eerie feelings in their films, but Tim Burton! I found this puzzle at the thrift store just a couple of weeks ago, and with a Halloween puzzle-along around the corner, I thought this would be perfect!

It was the first one I pulled out for the puzzle-along and I had so much fun with it. I completed it without referencing the box, so I could savour all the details. I have to admit that there are a couple references that are completely lost on me, but I still enjoyed all the kooky characters and skeletons throughout.

I do think that I may need to watch Sleepy Hollow this Halloween, it’s such a silly movie but the story is classic, and I do remember a lot of details from that movie being really great.

I would also like to go back to Mars Attacks, I only saw it once when it came out, and I recall it being hilarious! Do I remember correctly? I will have to see it again and report back to you all.

This puzzle was released by Heye and features the artwork of Alexandre Clerisse, there is another one released that is all Steven Spielberg movies, which if I do ever find that one, I think I’ll pick it up. I really enjoyed this puzzle and the style of it, plus the Spielberg one has Jurassic Park references in it!

I mean, what’s not to love to about that?

I was happy to see that this puzzle had all of it’s pieces and it really got me into the Halloween spirit. Our puzzle-along is happening until the 31st of October, so there will be a few more spooky puzzles to come!
