We’ve got yet another Halloweeny themed puzzle. I found this at a thrift store a while back and Joe thought it was really cool, so we picked it up.
The puzzle comes in a box that is made to look like a Blockbuster video rental case, which is a pretty fun detail!
The brand that makes these is called Cardinal, I have to be honest and say that the quality is lacking, but thankfully not in the piece cut aspect. It was cut well, so we didn’t have false fits, which is good, because this was a pretty dark puzzle.
The pieces were just a bit flimsy and the fit was a little loose, so moving around little puzzle piece islands was not an option. We watched the Exorcist while I put the puff ball man together and then I put together the rest of the dark pieces the next day in the morning.
We recently watched the newer Ghostbusters movie too, and I have to say that I enjoyed it! I just love all those women and seeing them all together, riffing off each other was so satisfying. I know it didn’t get the best response from the general public, but I enjoyed it 🙂
Joe bought me another one of these Blockbuster puzzles for my birthday this year, it’s of Alien. Another classic scary movie (with a dark colour theme, ha ha ha!)
