Well, here we are again! It’s early December and that means that the Holiday Puzzle along has begun once again. I’ve got a sweet little collection of winter, Hanukkah, and Christmas themed puzzles to share with everyone this year.

Many of these, were found at local thrift shops throughout the year, and one puzzle was purchased new. More on that when we get there though!

Today’s feature is a classic take on. Christmas puzzle, done by the masters back in 1981, Springbok. I found this last year, at the local Mission Mart, the colours are a bit dull and muted, but something in me really wanted to put it together.

I opened up the box this past weekend, and there was a strange note written inside the box. It read “37 pieces -“
What is one to make of that? I thought, maybe it’s missing 37 pieces, maybe the previous owner placed 37 pieces and then gave up, it could mean anything!

I didn’t have too many plans this past Sunday afternoon, so put this all together in one afternoon. It wasn’t a huge challenge and I was consistently moving forward.

Well, it wasn’t missing 37 pieces, but it was missing 12! So, I still have no idea what that note in the box meant. I had a hunch that there were a few gaps pretty early on in the puzzle, because some of the more distinct colourful parts I chose first had a few missing parts.
Oh well, it’s a sweet puzzle and a fun start to my holiday themes this winter!
