Deutschland

This seems to be a geography week of puzzles! This time , we’re zooming in on my birthplace, Germany!

I was born in what was known as West Germany at the time, in Bad Cannstadt, which is basically a suburb of Stuttgart in Baden Württemberg. We moved to Canada about two and a half years later.

I was a bit apprehensive to pull this one out and puzzle it, but in my efforts to tackle my to do pile, I decided to face the challenge and complete this puzzle. Well, just like the earth puzzle, it wasn’t that hard at all. It was so engaging, once again!

Lots of people ask me if I get to go home and visit often. I try to get to Germany as much as I can, but it has been since 2017, so I am due for a visit.

Since my last visit, my cousin got married, my other cousin had a baby, and my Aunt moved up north from Stuttgart! I’ve got plenty of people and places to visit 🙂

I’ve been to a lot of cities and towns in Germany, and some of my favourites include, Berlin, Hamburg, Koblenz, Nürnberg, Dresden, and Leipzig.

I think the next time we go to Germany, I’d like to visit Bremen and a small town called Loitz, where my Oma is from.

This puzzle is from Schmidt puzzles, which was just awesome quality, 1000 pieces, complete and in basically brand new condition.

I decided to send this to my Oma for her birthday, I think she’d really enjoy putting it together.
