Checkerboard Cat

I was craving a challenge, so I decided to crack into this black and white pattern dream of a cat puzzle. We have a sweet little black and white tuxedo cat taking a nap in its tiny little bed on a houndstooth patterned pillow and a polka dotted quilt.

How sweet, they hung their little fedora hat on the post of the bed and there seem to be little runners for each paw set out by the bed!

Also, they have a pet, a goldfish! Ha ha ha ha, I just can’t get over how adorable and silly this image is.

So you may be able to tell by the close up shot, that the details are a little blurry. It certainly was a blurry puzzling process, top that with the fact that this is a fairly tricky image. It was a challenge to say the least.

Let’s pause to admire this sweet little sleepy face! I love a snoozing cat so much. They just look so happy and peaceful.

I go into detail about some of the various types of cat puzzles that you can find out there at the thrift in this post here. This is one of my very early blog posts from 2016, can you believe that?

No doubt, you could guess that this is a Springbok puzzle. I mean what other company would release such a kitschy and slightly ridiculous image to puzzle?

This is technically still a vintage puzzle, it is 22 years old, so technically!

I got this in a trade with a local puzzler in Halifax, I traded my Eames Office Puzzle for this one and another Ravensburger puzzle to come soon.

This is 1000 pieces, complete and released by Springbok in 2002.
