Charles Wysocki’s Americana

Day two of my June 2024 blog-a-thon! Today, I decided to feature three minis that seem to be part of a set. I found them all together at the thrift store, and they clearly came from the same previous owner. So I decided to keep them all together in the post too!

I would say that every puzzler out there is very familiar with Charles Wysocki. I wouldn’t say that I love his art style but that I do really enjoy puzzling his artwork. There’s always a house or two, and they’re always separated out into little sections, which always feels like you’re puzzling in stages.

There’s always an American flag, and they always have a vintage feel to the pictures. Old timey clothes, bikes, boats, carts, horses, you name it.

These little minis were released by MB or Milton Bradley in 2002, I’d never come across mini puzzles from MB before. They do release a lot of Charles Wysocki images, they really seem to love his work!

I loved these little puzzles, the boxes are in perfect shape, they were clearly kept somewhere safe and really haven’t seen too much use, which is a win for me over here. Ha ha!

The pieces are in perfect shape and each puzzle came together quickly. I think that everyone who reads this blog, knows that I am a fan of a mini. Sometimes, I want the meditation and quiet focus of a puzzle, but I don’t have the time or I might not want to do a larger puzzle.

Thats where minis come in. It’s the perfect fun format!

Each puzzle is 100 pieces, in absolutely perfect condition and just the sweetest!
