The Little Mermaid

I don’t buy too many Disney puzzles, I’m just not as into Disney as some other puzzlers out there might be. I did really enjoy the feature length movies when I was little, I had a lot of them on VHS, but I don’t really want to puzzle them, now, as a puzzler.

I did find this 100 piecer recently, and I thought why not go down memory lane, 100 pieces is not a time commitment in any way, so this would be perfect.

I did really love this movie as a kid, I loved the way Ariel’s hair floated around her in the water. What a specific point, but it’s the truth!

We are missing a piece, but you get the picture. This seems to be from the beginning of the movie, on the Prince’s birthday. You can see the ship in the background with the fireworks and Ariel is there with her sweet pals.

I honestly think that maybe she made a mistake leaving these good friends behind her in the sea. If I may be candid. I don’t really get it, it seems like her and Eric are just really taken with each others’ beauty, do they actually get to know each other? Ariel and Flounder have so many memories and adventures together, they’re such good friends!

Anyway, these are my hot takes. I would still watch this movie, and I’d probably enjoy it still. I think that visually, it is super pretty.

I love the little boat ride scene where Sebastian is singing the kissing song, visually, it’s just so pretty! I also think that Ursula’s grotto with her eel friends make for some good visuals.

This little kids puzzle was made by Golden, a popular brand for that time for kids puzzles. 100 pieces and missing one.
