Aladdin – Frame Tray Puzzle

I haven’t ever really covered frame tray puzzles, they are a very popular product for young kids. Basically, you have a small puzzle that fits into a cardboard frame. You’ll see a lot of these as wooden toys for kids, where they put the shapes in the corresponding spot. I suppose then the next step would be a small puzzle.

I was very surprised to find an Aladdin by Disney frame tray puzzle. I don’t know why that seemed so unique, but maybe it’s because I’ve always found older cartoon references. Like Mickey Mouse or any of the characters from the early Disney era. Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, not necessarily feature length movies.

So this was obviously not a challenge, I think there are 12 pieces but it was a fun little trip down memory lane for me. I did also watch this movie on VHS quite a bit.

I just loved that Jasmine had a tiger, and they were such good friends!

The quality was pretty good, the pieces are very sturdy and fit into their spot perfectly, I think any little kid in the 90s would have loved this!

12 pieces, complete and released by Golden sometime around the movie’s release in 1992.
