Muskoka Lakes – Ontario

Nothing says late summer than packing up and heading to the lakes in Ontario for some rest and relaxation before the school year starts again. I think a lot of kids that grew up or spent any of their childhood years in Ontario have experienced this.

For me, it wasn’t necessarily Muskoka, but we did often squeeze in a trip to Algonquin Park if possible. I loved camping in Ontario, the mosquitoes were absolutely ruthless, and I was their favourite treat, but I just have such great memories of those camping trips.

I recently found this Lantern Press designed puzzle at the thrift store, actually not long after blogging about Whistler, and committing myself to finding and completing the series.

Now I just need to get that Maple Syrup one, and the Northern lights one, which I did forget existed, and wonder if I will find it easily. I think it’s pretty rare.

But I recently saw the Churchill, Manitoba puzzle at the thrift store, which is a rare one, so I have hope that I’ll come across the Northern Lights one someday.

This one was missing a few pieces, one of which I did find in a corner of our dining nook a few days after I disassembled it, so I think it was missing only 2 pieces in the end.
