I’m fairly certain that I have mentioned on this blog that Joe watches baseball, he plays it, he participates in a baseball fantasy league, he follows player’s stats, the man likes baseball!

Luckily for him, or for me (I guess) I actually enjoy it too. I’m nowhere near the super fanboy that he is, but I enjoy going to see a game, or watching on tv. Which, I say luckily for me, because there is a lot of baseball aired over the spring, summer, and autumn!

I found this puzzle at a thrift store in New Minas, of all places, and asked Joe if I should get it. He said, yes, of course.
One day, Joe actually pulled it out and began puzzling it, all on his own. I was actually finishing up a different puzzle, so he was just diving in, totally on his own. That is a rare thing, he’s not all that interested in doing puzzles, so I was a little surprised.

But considering the subject matter, should I really be all that surprised?

The man loves Baseball, and maps, so honestly this was kind of the perfect puzzle for him. To think I almost didn’t buy this, (the box was so dirty, and it kind of looked like mold. It was actually just caked on dust and Joe convinced me to buy it).

I eventually joined in, Joe got bored and turned on the game, and I finished it. But I was hooked. It was a really good quality puzzle and the format just made for such a fun and engaging puzzle. I love when interests collide.
I also cleaned up the box, and it looks great! Not mold at all!

This was a new to me brand, apparently it’s suitable for framing 🙂
The brand is World Impressions Inc. and it was pretty great. It was a cross between White Mountain puzzles and NorDevCo, which is a pretty good mash up, if you ask me. This was made in 1992, the year that the Blue Jays won the World Series, (I think! I do listen to when Joe talks about baseball, but I may have gotten that mixed up, let me know in the comments!)

Complete and it will be staying in the collection, I love doing a puzzle with Joe, and I think he really liked this one.
