Times Square, NYC

My friend passed this puzzle on to me, a newer 1000 piece Ravensburger of Times Square, New York City.

I’ve went to New York for work probably about 20 years ago, by now. I thought it was ok, I have to say that I was not very taken with the city, but I’m not surprised. I’m not really into big busy cities, I just feel a bit overwhelmed with the bustling energy.

We were also mainly in Manhattan, so I didn’t venture to the cool neighbourhoods that people always talk about.

My favourite day was definitely when I went to Coney Island, it was such a fun day, walking through the amusement park, we went on a few of the rides too. And then we walked around on the beach, it was a gorgeous sunny day in late March, so it wasn’t hot but it was so nice to get to see the sun and open skylines!

I also loved it, because it wasn’t busy! New York is a tad overwhelming, but I’m sure it would be fun with the right person. I’m know that I would have fun if I went with Joe, definitely.

I did visit Times Square and I can confidently say that I will not go back to see it, it was bonkers, and there really wasn’t anything notable there, in my opinion.

I have learned a little bit about the change that Times Square has seen over the years, it sounds like it’s been through quite a bit!

I think I lost a piece again! My friend did say that this was a complete puzzle and no doubt you can see that little blank spot up in the sky by the towers. Sigh…

That being said, I enjoyed assembling this puzzle. All the little logos and signs were fun to pick out and work on in little bits, slowly bringing them all together. Fun!
