Vintage firecracker logos are so fun and colourful! There’s actually an Eeboo puzzle from a few years ago, that I think is kind of rare and hard to find that also features vintage firecracker labels. If I ever find that one at the thrift store, I think I’ll pick it up, it looks really fun.

I had no idea that there was a Springbok one from the 90s, but am I really surprised that there is? No. No I am not.
This is right up their alley, if you ask me.

I am fairly certain that this puzzle is from 1993, it definitely comes in the box shape and size that were being released in the 90s. It’s also got that snug fit, just a tad too tight. I don’t know why puzzles from that era had that issue, I wonder if it was a different type of cardboard they were trying out? They got better in terms of fit, so that’s reassuring!

I think the Springbok Fever Site is down! It was a spreadsheet that listed a lot of Springbok puzzles – titles, code, piece count, publication date. It was such a great resource and I’m not sure that it’s still in publication! That’s too bad 😦
Maybe I should start another one up?

This fun little puzzle took about 2 hours to put together, and it was a fun time, for sure.
500 pieces, complete and just over 30 years old!
