Midnight

And here we have a winner! Another challenge puzzle, to be sure, but such a well executed, perfect challenge puzzle.

Meet Midnight by Springbok released in 1977. She is a stunner! The sheen on this puzzle only makes it better. Interestingly, this puzzle has a very similar cut to the imp puzzle from my last post. It’s a square, but the pieces are cut into a circle on the inside of the puzzle. It’s so gorgeous!

I was impressed that this actually went a lot quicker than I was expecting, I worked on it over the course of one day, and took some breaks to cuddle the kitties, make dinner, and roast a pumpkin.

I was just thrilled to find that it was complete, a treasure like this that’s almost 50 years old! It’s in perfect shape, the box has very little wear on it too. I really couldn’t have asked for a better come back from the red puzzle from last week!

I had the box propped up on the couch, and I will say that it scared Alomar! He got so puffy, and slowly walked toward the box. It scared him twice! My poor little guy, I’ve put it away so it won’t scare him anymore 🙂

500 pieces, complete, made in 1977, and in perfect condition.
