I think that most of my readers know that I’m not really a Disney fan. Don’t get me wrong, I watched the movies growing up, the Lion King was one of those movies in the regular rotation. I just didn’t really keep that going into my teens and adult years.
I think the last Disney movies I saw and liked were Toy Story and Finding Nemo. But every once in a while, I get a bit nostalgic when I come across these vintage kids puzzles.
This is a 200 piecer from Golden around 1994. This copy was missing one piece so I did send it back to thrift store.
I had fun going down memory lane for the 200 piece journey. I remember being pretty scared of the hyenas, the scene where Scar and the hyenas sing that song in their lair or whatever that place was. The glowing eyes and the silhouetted hyenas on the cliffs.
Scary stuff!
What was your favourite Disney movie? Mine was always Alice in Wonderland and I loved the Rescuers movies, the Rescuers Down Under was a decent sequel!
