Well, it’s Feb 14th, Valentine’s Day, once again. I have been getting more and more into seasonal puzzles and I actually found a few for this year. One of them, I just don’t think I’ll get to, unfortunately, I can do it at any time of the year though!

Valentine’s Day does not really mean anything to me, we don’t spend lots of money on a fancy dinner or gifts, it’s just not really our style. Joe may sometimes get me some kind of treat, and I may bake something but that’s the extent of it. I know a lot of folks don’t like how consumerist and commercialized the day has become, and I would have to say that I agree.

There are ways to show anyone you love and appreciate without spending tons of cash. Like spend time together! Tonight we’re going to make breakfast for dinner, which is one of the best kinds of dinner you can have and we’ll either pack some boxes and listen to music or maybe even watch a movie. I have really been wanting to watch Christine. So romantic! Ha ha ha.

This puzzle is pretty adorable, and it was fun to put together, too! I actually put it together before I had to start work yesterday, and it was perfect for that. I think I worked on it for about an hour and a half, with my cats by my side. Perfection!

Naturally, I appreciate the animal representation in this puzzle, it seems to me like most of these people’s valentines are there pets, which is accurate.

I especially love this cat serenading this kid in the blue dress. Otto and Alomar will often sing us a song, it’s very sweet.

This puzzle is a vintage Springbok from 1987 and it was complete! The fit was absolutely perfect and the box is in great shape. This was a big win for me.
