Another day, another mini. Much better executed than my last one. As I’ve mentioned before, I really enjoy New York Puzzle Co. mini puzzles (their full size puzzles is another story though!)
I found this comic pretty silly, obviously it’s silly because the dog is in formal wear, but what I find really silly is the old style of formal wear!
Just the top hat and the cape, I just adore men’s wear from the past, they really went for it in other eras. Much more adventurous and flamboyant, none of this worrying about perception of your masculinity or something silly like that.
I say we bring back the tights, pantaloons, heels, padded calves, frilly sleeves, colourful fabrics, capes, you name it! Options are what make dressing for the day fun!
This little puzz was missing a few pieces so I passed it back on to the thrift store for someone else to have a good time exploring men’s fashion of bygone days.
