My first puzzle in our new place! I assembled this about a month ago, I do have a bit of a back log but I hope to catch up by the end of the week 🙂

A 1995 release called Clowning Around by F.X. Schmid, featuring a school of clownfish. What else would you expect? This was honestly a great choice for my first puzzle, because the finished puzzle was actually quite small, everything of ours was still just laying around everywhere so having just one foamboard out was perfect. It fit both the pieces and the full puzzle.

My photos turned out pretty blurry unfortunately, but this was a bright and clear image. I really missed puzzling and I was just so delighted to be putting a few pieces in here and there, between organizing and cleaning and chores. I have to say, for a 500 piece puzzle this did give me a bit of a challenge, maybe I’m a bit rusty.

I was missing a piece but it’s ok, I wasn’t really planning on keeping this puzzle anyway.
Naturally, in doing a puzzle like this, I did think about Finding Nemo, and replayed some of the goofy scenes in my head while assembling this. Funny how most people will jump to that movie reference if they see in image like this, how powerful pop culture can be!

I took this back to the thrift store for another person to enjoy these colourful fish. 500 pieces and missing 1, this guy is exactly 30 years old!
