Charles Wysocki’s Americana – 402

Remember these sweet minis I posted about last summer? From Milton Bradley, 3 100 piece minis featuring Charles Wysocki images, classic old-timey Americana images.

In my post last summer, I went on and on about the composition. We always have a house or building of some sort, maybe a horse and cart, maybe there’s a dog, or flowers, or Victorian bicycle. Always an American flag.

This one is a new image that I’ve not seen from Wysocki – teddy bears!

I have not, to this date, seen a Wysocki image that wasn’t a landscape. I have to say that I like this too. We do have American flags and a whole lot of patriotic bears, I find it pretty strange and almost propaganda-esque. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but either way, a mini at the thrift store will always find a home with me.

This mini was not complete, unfortunately, it would have made a nice addition to the collection. This mini was released by Milton Bradley in 2002.

I have found a few fun teddy bear puzzles lately, they’re such a funny genre! You better believe that I am on the lookout for more teddy bear themed puzzles and will continue to pick them up.

In the meantime, please enjoy Teddy Bear Wedding Day, E.T., Patchwork Pals, and Best of Friends. I have another teddy bear puzzle that I recently found that will be joining the collection of teddy bear posts! Stay tuned!
