A while back, I found a new to me vintage puzzle brand – Past Pleasures. It looks like they were based in Palo Alto, CA. I can’t tell if they are/were a publishing company or a puzzle company specifically. A quick Google search really didn’t unearth all that much.

I didn’t who Dale Seymour was when I bought this, I was really just in it for the dice, it seems like he was an educator and author. He apparently liked to play Blackjack and eventually began collecting gambling chips, which turned into collecting more types of game pieces.
Such as dice!

I really thought this was going to be a super tough puzzle, and surprisingly, it wasn’t. I had a really nice Sunday afternoon assembling this little collection of varying dots and cubes. This guy sure had a lot of dice.

There were some pretty neat shaped dice too, the long ones that looked more like a domino, I wonder if those are used for a particular game? Maybe you know, if so, please do leave a comment or send me a message!

This puzzle still had the original shrink wrapping on it, meaning it had never been assembled before! I was really hoping for a wonderful puzzle time capsule, but there wasn’t anything super rare or special inside, just a bag of pieces, ha ha! But if Past Pleasures was strictly a publishing company, I think it would make sense that they probably wouldn’t have a catalogue or anything like that.

This dice puzzle is 500 pieces, complete and obviously in brand new condition!
