A Star is Iced

Well, this was a bit of a bust!

I finally picked up this mystery puzzle from Springbok, I say finally because I see this particular mystery puzzle at the thrift stores all the time.

Now this was bust because I never actually looked in the box before buying it, and I didn’t notice that the story booklet was missing! Now for these Springbok Mystery Story SERIES puzzles, the booklet is a crucial part of the whole packet.

You’re meant to read a short story that has a few planted clues, assemble the puzzle and spot whatever differences or inconsistencies there may be from the story to the puzzle image.

Seeing as this image has a bunch of black and white photographs, I’m assuming the details in the pictures reveal that someone had an argument with someone else, or maybe someone is missing when the story said they were present, you get it.

But without the story booklet, I’ve got nothing to go on!

That’s fine, I guess, I’m usually just in it for the actual jigsaw puzzles anyway. I tend to get a little bored with the puzzles after the main puzzle. Similar to the Ravensburger Escape Puzzle, I just kind of lose interest. Spoiler alert, I never solved the mystery from that puzzle either!

500 pieces, missing one tiny edge piece and one story booklet.
