Have you ever sent a wish you were here note from when you were on vacation? I can’t say that I ever have, I’ve definitely sent letters or postcards while on vacation, but they were never specifically a wish you were with me kind of sentiment.
This collage image from Springbok in 1984, is full of nostalgic little cards and notes for loved ones from travellers on vacation. There are a lot of throwbacks to the Victorian era all the way up to the Art Deco era.
Springbok just loves these types of collage images, I’m recalling Victorian Valentines, and Christmas Reverie. We all know that I love a collage too, so I’m happy to keep looking for these classic Springbok gems.
I do enjoy this one of these clowns having a fun time in New Orleans. I suppose this must be a Mardi Gras celebration?
This puzzle was super fun to assemble, Looking for these little wacky details, textures, characters, colours, making little islands of puzzle pieces and then just filling in the blanks. Looking for all the little details is just such an engaging time.
This little gem is complete and so so cute.
