Puppies

A couple weeks ago I went on a short trip to Charlottetown, PEI. It was the PEI Fibre Festival, a yarn and wooly show that is a pretty big deal here in the Maritimes. I went with my friends Sydney and Mel, and we had such a fun time! We took a crochet class, went to a talk about the history of natural dying from a settler and indigenous perspective (which was super interesting and I feel like they only scratched the surface!) and we looked at and held a lot of wool! I may also have purchased a few skeins of yarn that will becomes something beautiful, soon enough!

We also went to the thrift store and I found this adorable little puzzle, just three little puppy friends hanging out in the hay together. I just can’t resist these types of puzzle images, they’re so adorable and kitschy at the same time.

I picked it up and put it together on one of the evenings that we were there, it was missing two pieces and it did look like maybe someone’s puppy got hold of one of the pieces, which is only right for a puzzle like this!

I forget the brand of this puzzle but i want to say that it was Arrow puzzles. There is a Milton Bradley 100 piece release of the exact same image but I’m fairly certain this was Arrow. Either way, adorable, and a nice way to spend a bit of time in our Charlottetown BNB.
