Is it too soon? I always criticize the onslaught of Christmas music the day after Halloween. I just find it’s too early, you know? Let me breathe a little before we jump on the next holiday wagon! I am, however doing another vintage market this holiday season and I need to complete some of the vintage Christmas puzzles that I’ve collected over the year to confirm their piece counts.

So, I started with my least Christmassy image, it’s does say Happy Holidays, but the ice skating and winter themes feel a lot less on the nose Christmas to me. Upon completing this, I was delighted to discover that this little vintage gem was complete and will be included in my holiday sale collection at the Curio Collective Vintage Christmas Market at the end of the month.

This is from Springbok, naturally, and it’s one of their Family puzzles, the type with the large pieces at one end of the puzzle and the pieces gradually get smaller and smaller for a higher challenge. I do really like that concept, and I’ve got a couple more of those in my stack of puzzles to complete this season.

I suppose that Snoopy and Charlie Brown are really associated with Christmas, aren’t they? I know that I’ve definitely seen Charlie Brown’s Christmas before, I recall that maybe CBC or some TV station in the 80s and 90s would air these Christmas shows or movies at certain times throughout December. I remember they would air A Christmas Carol, and It’s a Wonderful Life (which I honestly cannot stand!) I feel like there was a Road to Avonlea or an Anne of Green Gables episode that would be aired around December, am I recalling that correctly? Canadians, help me out here!

I just remember that we watched Charlie Brown’s Christmas in school, you know that last week before the winter break, when you’d just watch movies and do crafts, those were the days!

This little trip down memory lane is 500 pieces, complete, and dates back to 1997!
