A Wentworth wooden jigsaw, a company that remains true to the classic Victorian style. Every piece is a different shape, some reflect the style of the image.
My boyfriend found this on one of our trips to a Value Village. I’d never seen one of these before. The unusual shapes made this a challenge, I had to give up my regular model of completing the border first. I hope to find more of these in the future.
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
