This great find is another one of my birthday puzzles. A Where’s Waldo 500 piece manufactured by USAopoly. This is a brand that I haven’t been introduced to until now. This puzzle is complete and in fantastic shape. It’s hard to see detail in the above photo so I’ve taken a few close ups. One of Waldo with his sailor buddies and another of the catfish, dogfish and angry octopus.
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
