Found this adorable little puzzle in a can on a thrift hunt yesterday afternoon. The puzzle is in near perfect condition, forty pieces and from 1979. Manufactured by American Publishing Corp.

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
