Hamburg, Germany! I visited the city for the first time last summer, some of my relatives come from the northern part of the country and I had always wanted to check it out. A Hanseatic city, right on the Elbe River near the mouth of the North Sea, there’s a huge shipping port and the weather is almost identical to Vancouver. One of the most beautiful parts of the city is the old warehouse district or Speicherstadt. But there was so much to see here, highly recommend visiting Hamburg!
My Aunt, Jule, who lives in Stuttgart sent this puzzle to me for my birthday last year. A Ravensburger 1000 piece puzzle of the city we both love. Ravensburger is always a pleasure to put together, the company has been around since 1891! German made, and this particular one is part of the Deutschland series. The building in the photograph here is the Landungsbrücken in the St Pauli area of Hamburg.
