A friend of mine shared this puzzle with me. She’s also a Springbok puzzle fan, we both love the quality, the fit and the kitchy vintage photo collages. If there’s some sort of pun in the puzzle title…. all the better.
This is a 500 piece puzzle, complete and if I were to guess, this dates back to the eighties. A delightful collection of doilies, embroidery and notions. Absolutely charming.
I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
