A cute little woodland animals puzzle by Children’s Illustrator Patricia MacCarthy. This was a stocking stuffer from Joe this past Christmas, and while I’ve assembled it couple of times already, I never posted about it.

Of course anything animal themed is a win, I also love mini puzzles, the box is so sweet! Patricia MacCarthy is based in the UK and so is this puzzle manufacturer, Robert Frederick. I’m fairly certain that Joe picked this little puzz up at Winners.

The quality was pretty good, though after a few times being assembled the pieces are starting to show some wear. Inevitable I guess. This was a brand new puzzle, 100 pieces and complete.

I love to thrift, finding treasures that people have thrown away. The challenge and the quiet time focusing on assembling jigsaw puzzle pieces into a final image has interested and excited me for as long as I can remember. A few years ago I noticed that thrift stores always have a fully stocked "puzzles and games" section. Finally an endless supply of new puzzles to solve and a reason to keep thrifting!
