King Neptune’s World

When I found this puzzle at the thrift store, I knew instantly that it was a special puzz. It’s manufactured by the Great American Puzzle Factory in 1993, they called it a Puzzle within a Puzzle.

Not only does this puzzle have gorgeous illustrations by an artist named Nancie West Swanberg, but there are hidden faces within the puzzle image. 19 mermaids and 1 king Neptune.

I’m happy to say that I was able to find all the mermaids, some of them were quite visible and other were pretty sneaky, tucked away in kelp or corals. This was such a cleverly made puzzle, the piece cut even resembled ocean currents with the random cut, it was, honestly, a perfect puzzle!

Oh, also, this was a complete thrift store find! I was so happy when I was down to the last piece and placed it in irks place.

Ok, just one more photo!
