The Halloween puzzle-along continues! Todays themed puzzle was probably not intentionally trying to be spooky but there are many out there that are afraid of clowns, and these smiling clowns certainly pass the creep test!
I chose this puzzle for a couple reasons – one… creepy clowns. Two…the brand is a West German brand that I’ve found before – Altenburg Strahlsunder-Spielkartenfabriken. I had to search way back in the archives to find the other one that I’ve found before – Historisches Venedig.
Naturally I had to bring these clowns home with me! This is just a 140 piece puzzle and I think it was probably made a little more recently than the Venice puzzle was, perhaps the 1980s?
Definitely before the 1990s if it was made in “West Germany”.
This was a quick evening puzzle after work last week and I did creep everyone in the puzzle-along chat group out. My next one won’t be so scary, ha ha ha!
