Joe surprised me with a few puzzles he picked up from the thrift store, including this vintage mini Nordevco New York Map puzzle. These little things are rare, and I was so impressed that he found this and had a hunch that I would like it!

Perhaps you remember 8 Ball? I can’t find when this little puzzle was made, but probably sometime in the 1980s. This little puzzle is missing a piece in the top left corner.

I went to New York back in 2008, I was there for work, so I didn’t really get to see the city as I would have if I were there on my own. I did get to see a friend who was living there at the time, he took me to a nice spot in Brooklyn for dinner and we went to the Met.

I also got to visit Coney Island, which I absolutely loved! It was March, so the park wasn’t in full swing, but I did go on a few rides and got to check out some of the booths. It was a gorgeous day too, I’d love to go back there someday.

Did I love New York? At the time, no… but I’d like to give it another chance and go with Joe. I’d love to take a history walk there, if there is one, go thrifting, see some music, have some delicious food. We do live a lot closer to the city now, so maybe we’ll get to go sooner rather than later!

This little puzz is 100 pieces, missing one and was found at Value Village by Joe a few weeks ago.
