Wow, another puzzle that I checked off my wish list at the thrift store! Another Pomegranate too. This moody but energetic owl and its baby, has caught my eye several times on Instagram over the past year or so.
I found it on a thrift trip back in the summer when I picked up this other Pomegranate puzzle featuring an owl by a different Inuit artist. What are the odds?

The artist that made this image is Ningiukulu Teevee. This image is so detailed and just stunning to look at. I love the colourful feathers and the little owl being protected by the wing of the larger owl, just peeking out to see what’s happening out there.

I have had this puzzle since the summer, and I knew it was going be a tough one, so I had paused on it for a while. But I brought it to Cape Breton with us and worked on it for two evenings over there. It was tough but not impossible and once it was put together, the image is so striking!

This copy was sadly missing 5 pieces, which can make a challenging puzzle even more challenging, but I really enjoyed assembling this and checking it off of my wish list!
Beautiful!
