Vintage Pencils

What do we have here? A colour explosion with gold foiling details all over this photograph of vintage pencils.

I have to admit, it’s strange thematic content to dedicate an entire puzzle image to, but it certainly is pretty and was so engaging to put together as a puzzle.

This is yet another Galison release, and I liked it. Yes there’s a paper backing to your pieces, they’re a little glossy and sometimes they can be easily damaged, absolutely.

But that gloss makes for a gorgeous and vibrant finished puzzle, indeed.

It is a little tough to capture that gold detailing in photos, but trust me when I say that it was there, it’s there and adds such a pretty effect to a regular puzzle.

I kind of like that some details are best in person and make the experience worth it. It was how I felt about the one Paperblanks puzzle I did. The effect of the shine and glow is mostly completely lost in the photos but it was very pretty in real time.

This vintage pencils puzzle is 1000 pieces, complete and found at the thrift store, she’s a beauty!
