We’re now in the month of April, what’s that? How’s that?! Don’t ask me how the time flew by so quickly, I honestly couldn’t say!

Soooooo, I have a fair number of puzzles on a mental “to do” list of mine. I have always had a small stack of puzzles that I’d thrifted and hadn’t yet put together. But, I must say that having a shelf dedicated to puzzles and having some thrift stores that are beautifully stocked with really unique, fun, and mostly vintage puzzles can be hard to resist sometimes!

Then, sometimes you’ll find a puzzle in the lobby of your building too, I mean what am I to do? I don’t think I would have purchased this, I think I would have thought it’d be too hard, but it was sitting there in our lobby and just drawing me in, so I brought it upstairs with me.

I’ve been really trying my best to get through this to do stack of mine and this one was on the list. I put it off, because I thought it would be hard, but I finally decided to try it out.

First off, you can tell that this is three separate puzzles of close up shots of various plants. They seem to have been in separate bags, when I opened it up, the succulent puzzle, was still sealed in a Ravensburger bag. It appears the previous owner only attempted the leaf close up and the neon green plant.

And were they tough? Yes, as a matter of fact, they were. The leaf close up was the easiest and the succulent puzzle was the toughest.
But I have to say that there was something so captivating about these puzzles, I couldn’t stop! I was worried that I’d complete 1 or 2 and not have the steam for the third, but I cracked into it almost right away!

It’ll be a while before things are looking lush here in Halifax, but you can feel the energy of Spring already. These puzzles certainly have me excited for some leaves on trees and the sound of wind rustling through them.

Two of the images were complete and unfortunately my favourite of the three was missing two pieces. This was a freebie, found in our lobby and made for a surprisingly fun time.
A total of 1500 pieces, released in 2011.
