After my last puzzle which just felt like a sad moment, I wanted to turn to an old reliable puzzle company. Something that I knew I would love, and that was my latest NorDevCo find – Paperweights.

I found this beauty at the thrift shop a few months ago, and I’ve been saving it for just the right time, well, that time arrived! I was frustrated and a tad unimpressed by the Odd Pieces puzzle, and I just knew that a vintage brand that I know and love would have me loving every puzzling moment!

This image in particular, all the little sectioned off pieces made for fun mini puzzles! This was the perfect palate cleanser, I loved every minute of this puzzle. I found another of their “collector’s” puzzles years ago, it was called Collector’s Plates. They must have made a series of puzzles that showcase collections, because let’s not forget Beer after Beer.

Do I collect plates, or paper weights, or drink a lot of beer? No, but these are some of my all time favourite puzzles, they are definitely in my puzzle hall of fame, they’re cool, unique, a little offbeat, and they hit an aesthetic mark that says late 70s early 80s. I love it!

This puzzle is sadly missing a piece, but I don’t mind! I hope that maybe one day I’ll find another copy, and perhaps that will be complete or I can replace my one missing piece. We’ll have to wait and see!
I’m a patient person.

How stunning is that? She’s gorgeous. This is a 600 piece puzzle that I picked up from Value Village, it’s missing one piece but it will definitely stay in my collection, it’s too pretty.
