Chunky Rainbow

Is there anything as satisfying as putting things in order? I’m sure that’s a particular characteristic of mine that not everyone out there finds as satisfying as I do. But in my mind, putting things in order is a real treat! Clearly, an aspect to puzzles that I very much enjoy.

Now, when you have a puzzle with all those pieces, and then you have colours just dying to be arranged in rainbow order, that’s when you’ve really got something!

It’s like a layered cake! This puzzle is called Chunky Rainbow and it’s by the popular Instagram artist Josie Lewis. She plays mostly with colour and arranging colours in a gradiated rainbow order. It’s the organizational type’s dream.

I will say, that I wanted to enjoy this more. Buffalo Games usually makes a fun puzzle at an affordable price, but the pieces in this one were only so-so. They weren’t the most reliable in their fit, which is a rare occurrence with Buffalo Games. I am always a bit annoyed at their high gloss but the fit of their pieces had never been an issue for me. I wonder what was going on with this particular puzzle and cut.

Obviously I didn’t struggle all that much, I did get the puzzle done, after all. And the finished product of arranged colours was pretty nice to look at.

1000 pieces, complete, and found at the thrift store.
