Happy belated Christmas!
It was my intention to get this posted for Christmas but I got so carried away with relaxing and enjoying some time off that I just didn’t post this. Which is absolutely ok.
But here we are, it’s Dec. 28th and I am posting my blog about this rainbow vintage inspired ornaments puzzle. This is an older release from Galison, they have a sort of rainbow collection of puzzles from 2020 or perhaps the following year.
You may remember Toy Animals from 2022. This puzzle was from the same collection, I can’t quite recall the other ones that are in this line, I know there was a toy cars one, and maybe marbles, but that about all I can conjure up in my memory, right now.
But this one, and the Toy animals puzzle had always been my favourite, I like the way the items are arranged and the white space around them. It’s very delicate and satisfying to me.
This really wasn’t a hard puzzle, but it sure was fun to assemble! I went in colour order from the bottom right hand corner – the purples – to the top left hand corner. It probably took about an hour and a half of quiet, peaceful puzzling. It was exactly what I needed.
I passed this puzzle on as a Christmas gift to our friends who also enjoy a puzzle now and then. They seemed to really like it, and I know that they’ll have fun with it too!
