Ok, one last Christmas puzzle for the year. This is one of those puzzle Plus Springbok puzzles, originally this puzzle would have come with a rocking horse Christmas ornament. It was long gone, but the puzzle was still sealed in the original bag, which was a neat perk.
From 1995, this is a sweet little collection of hallmark keepsake rocking horse ornaments over the years. This reminds me of the Critter’s Christmas puzzle from a few years ago, a collection of ornaments most likely released by Hallmark every year.
I remember going into the Hallmark store at the mall as a teenager, I can’t say that I remember these specific ornaments but I do recall the trinkets and the little tacky jewelry boxes and everything they had on display there. If I could go back in time and grab all the springbok puzzles I could get my hands on, I absolutely would!
I think that black horse above is my favourite, I just like the saddle colour combo with the shiny black body of the horse.
I’m not going to lie, this puzzle was very red, it didn’t pull me in as much as Critter’s Christmas did, I think because there was a little staged scene. Anyway, this is also a staged scene, just a different flare!
