Purrrfectly Cozy

We recently went to Ontario to visit family and friends, a long overdue visit! While there, I mentioned checking out a thrift store just to see the puzzle situation. The next day, Joe’s cousin brought me a puzzle from her collection to assemble while we were there.

(Of course, I still wanted to check out the thrift stores!) I wasn’t one to turn down a quick puzzle, we were staying in a small town and we had the night in, so I definitely took advantage of the opportunity.

This was definitely an easy puzzle, and probably not one I would normally choose for myself, but it was fun for the evening.

There is this aesthetic to a lot of newer puzzles that is a very hip style, minimal detail, colour blocking. It’s not that I don’t like this style but I do want more detail in a puzzle, which is why I wouldn’t normally choose this for myself.

I do very much agree with the content of this puzzle, I often live this dream, to be honest. Sometimes I’ll be knitting on the couch and both Otto and Alomar will snuggle up nice and close, probably to get my warmth. To be truthful, I know that’s what our relationship is! Ha ha, I’m 100% fine with that too.

This was a 500 piecer from Hobbry, which is the Indigo Books brand if I’m not mistaken. I’ve only ever done one puzzle from them before, remember Cheers!? That was my 2021 New Year’s Eve puzzle, can we believe that we’re half way through the 2020s already. Truly mind blowing, honestly!

I assembled this in the fall, and I’m currently trying to catch up on blogging about all the puzzles I did recently, you may have noticed that I have been posting quite a bit this week, well, stay tuned because I have a handful more to come!
