It’s been another stretch of no puzzles, what can I say to explain for my absence? Basically, I just didn’t have a comfortable puzzling spot in our new place set up. I’m keeping an eye open for a daybed/sofa situation on marketplace, but I’m being very picky.

Basically, we now have a second bedroom that is serving as an office, a sitting room that can accommodate a guest or two and puzzles! There is really nice bright light in the room and I have my puzzle shelves all set up, I just didn’t really have anywhere to sit and do the puzzles. And I think my time of sitting on the floor to do a puzzle is long gone! I discovered that with this big puzzle from 2017.

But last week, we found an IKEA Poang chair at Value Village, so there’s at least one spot to take a seat in the spare room now, things are looking up!

This Mudpuppy Puzzle is actually from the archives, I assembled this before we moved and never got around to blogging about it. I had picked this up at the the dollar store, because sometimes they sell Galison, Ravensburger, or Mudpuppy puzzles, it’s a good deal!

And of course we all know that I can’t say no to an animal puzzle, this was too cool! I really enjoyed assembling this, picking out the details and slowly building from the centre out to the edges. I ended up selling this on Marketplace before we moved, which was the plan and why I assembled a whole bunch of puzzles before we moved.
I still had a lot of boxes filled with puzzles to move, but I think that every little bit helped!

I really love the colours in this puzzle, and how the kaleidoscope pattern mirrors itself but not exactly, that’s a fun detail. This was a brand new 500 piecer and it was complete.

I am very hopeful that I can get back into a puzzling and blogging rhythm now, I really miss that satisfaction of a good puzzle.
