Dinosaur Gathering

I was super excited to find another good dinosaur puzzle, not the best, but another good one, that isn’t very obviously for kids.

From Educa, which is a Spanish brand of puzzles, I believe, comes Dinosaur Gathering. An odd title, if you ask me, but I’m sure it’s a translation quirk rather than a party for dinos.

I mean it looks like there is a little bit of danger near by, what with those volcanoes! Maybe they are gathering and strategizing where to go and what to do. Somehow, I don’t think so.

I really loved the colour variations in this puzzle though, the vibrant pinks and purples in the distance really jumped out at me.

The more I look at these dinosaurs, the more it does look like they’ve gathered and are talking to each other, ha ha ha! I also love the absolutely sinister grin on the T-Rex, what a set of teeth!

Educa is a fun brand, not my absolute favourite, obviously, but I do enjoy their puzzles. I mean I’ve only ever done this one and the 8000 piece puzzle, but they were decent enough. I have to say that the cut is very clean, to the point that the pieces almost feel pointy, does that make sense?

I did really enjoy this puzzle but I am very happy with my Prehistoric World puzzle, so I’ll pass this on to a friend of mine, who is about as obsessed with Jurassic Park as I am. You know who you are!

500 pieces, found at the thrift store complete and in perfect condition.
