Zodiac Cats

One of my favourite things about all of the cats that I’ve known in my life to date, is their different little personalities. Both Otto and Alomar have adorable personalities, even though they were from the same litter. Otto is a little scamp, he’s curious and playful, wants to know everything about everything and then he crashes hard. He’s snuggly and cuddly, and very friendly with strangers.

His brother Alomar is also very sweet and cuddly, but he’s a bit more reserved around strangers and seems to value his personal space a little bit more. He loves food, and to chat with me at all hours of the day. His purr is about as loud as a lawnmower and he’ll rev up the minute you give him a little pat on the head. His playful side will come out from time to time and when it does, it’s absolutely adorable, mostly because he spends most of his day sleeping and lounging and bathing.

My last cat Chester was almost a combination of Otto and Alomar, he was snuggly, curious, playful, athletic and incredibly chatty. He was fairly demanding of my presence and if I was at home, I wasn’t really allowed to not be near him. He was so loyal and a good friend for 16 years!

Now, do I think cats have zodiac symbol characteristics? No, but I do love how each cat in this tile format image has a personality trait. The Sagittarius cat actually could be Chester. he was an expert hunter and a long legged Siamese beauty.

This is a fun and colourful 500 piece Galison puzzle that I picked up from the thrift shop a few months ago. I was missing an edge piece, but thankfully there because that way we don’t miss any zany cat details!

I passed this onto a friend of mine who saw it in a bookshop we were at and fell in love with it, so I let them know I had it and that they were more than welcome to puzzle it too πŸ™‚
