We love a good repeat puzzle here at thepuzzlesivedone! And this one, I have indeed completed three different copies of the same image.

Once way back before this blog, maybe 2014 or 2015? That copy was missing a few pieces. Then I found another copy in 2018, forgetting that I had done it once before. See this post with some low lit photos! That copy was also incomplete, missing just one piece.

And fast forward to 2025, I found it again!

This stunning copy is in fact complete, third time’s a charm, I suppose. I was so happy to have found a complete copy, this puzzle dates back to 1979, it’s well on it’s way to 50 years old!

I just love the attention to detail in this image, the colours and little bits of embroidery and beadwork are so stunning, I just love how it all comes together to make the most cohesive collage image. It’s truly so beautiful. The artist is Bob Schneeberg, the artist that brought us A Merry Old Christmas. I found that one a while ago at a local vintage market here in Halifax, as a matter of fact I’ll be hosting a vintage booth there this weekend, selling some of my special vintage puzzles and sharing the love of a good puzz.

You may have noticed that I’ve been posting a lot of puzzles recently, this vintage market is the reason.
This beauty is 500 pieces and complete, finally!
