Today’s post features a unique puzzle that I can only speculate why it exists. And, that, my friends is a 250 piece puzzle released by Wonderbread. Are they in the puzzle manufacturing business? No. Did they release at least one puzzle? Yes. What tastes better, Wonderbread or this puzzle?

I found this little puzzle at the thrift shop about 2 and a half years ago, I just thought this was funny. I did anticipate that it most likely was not going to be an amazing quality puzzle. Many of these branded puzzles aren’t, remember Pez? I wonder if the guy that bought it ever managed to complete the puzzle?
So that was terrible quality, but my BC Ferries mini was actually good quality, mostly because a fairly reliable brand manufactured it, which may be the secret!

I rolled the dice, I thought at the very least, I’d get the colourful parts together and I could pack it away. When I opened it up, the bag was still sealed, I was correct in assuming that the quality was not going to be good. You may be able to see in the photos all the tabs are sort of bent/chewed up and this had never been put together before. The white pieces basically didn’t fit anywhere nicely but I managed to get it all together, mostly by trial and error.
So why was this made? Who knows? My speculation is it was a promotion, like buy three loaves of bread get a puzzle? Or this was sent out to staff from corporate? Whoever had it, did not assemble it and then took it to the thrift store, ha ha ha.

250 pieces, factory sealed and complete. She’s going back to the thrift store!
