Presenting Blue

It’s time for another paint can puzzle! The colour we’re working with today is blue.

No drop cloth required, only one coat needed! I actually have two copies of this puzzle at the moment, yes, I am holding on to a small number of paint cans in my office/spare/puzzle room. It’s a bit ridiculous, but I am a puzzle collector after all. I had found a copy about a year and a half ago, (I hadn’t assembled it) and when I found another copy, I thought well what if my first copy is incomplete and this one is complete. Sooooo, I bought it.

I am not encouraging this, by the way. What I encourage is to try and assemble puzzles shortly after you pick them up. This will help with clutter, and stock piling, decision fatigue. And probably more.

I actually enlisted Joe in helping me choose my next puzzle last night, ha ha ha. I just have a few too many options and sometimes I just cannot make a choice. I wanted to assemble a difficult puzzle, I sometimes opt for my easier ones, or smaller piece count puzzles, because in-progress puzzles distract me too much during my work hours at home. So I pulled out three puzzles that I’ve put off for a while because they look difficult and Joe naturally chose the one that looked the hardest! Ha ha ha. Typical, honestly.

Anyway, this collection of blue things made for a pretty fun evening puzzle. A reset after a work day and no next-day distractions while working.

This is a 400 piece puzzle from Springbok released in the year 2000. The puzzle is in absolute perfect condition too! I’ll probably assemble my other blue one fairly soon to check the piece count and overall shape and condition of it πŸ™‚
